MSG.1  Bavarian M1889 Infantry Officer's Saber.                    SOLD  The beautiful 33 1/2" blade is bright and clean with the Bavarian motto "In Treue Fest" etched on both sides. Maker marked by WK&C. Brass hilt with a nice mellow age patina, fishskin grips with wire wrap. Steel Scabbard has no dents and retains approximately 80% of the black paint.       .        [Click here to Order]

MSG.2  Early German Combat Artillery Sword                        SOLD Heavy 30" blade by Weyersberg is very clean and bright but has several areas of pitting where moisture was traped in the scabbard at one time. Two issue cyphers on the spine. The first is Bavarian King Ludwig II (1864-1886 and the second is Prussian with a 1906 date. Both the guard and steel sheath are issue marked "4.A.F.2.H.17" Metal hilt and sheath are in great condition with a dark brown age patina. The grips are the very early and scarce leather type in good shape with just a couple of scuff marks. These early examples are very sought after.                Click here to Order]

MSG.3  Garde Train Batallion Sword.                                      $485.00 The 32" nickel plated blade is very clean with just a little scratching on the tip and slight bubbling at the hilt. Each side is etched half it's length, the obverse has floral and military motifs along with Garde Train Batallion. The reverse has the bust of Kaiser Wilhelm and Mit Gott fur Kaiser n.Reich.  Hilt is nickel plated with just a few spots of plating loss. Wire wound sharkskin grips have a slight crack at the pommel, leather fingerschloss intact. Sheath retains 90% of the black paint though the surface shows age and use. MSG.4  Prussian M1873 Dovehead Sword.                                  SOLD Nice bright 34 1/4" plated blade with the J.A. Henkels (twin men) trade mark. Large sized hilt with excellent nickeled fittings, black celluloid grips and wire wrap. Nickeled sheath has one surface dent and considerable fine bubbleing to the nickel. MSG.5  Prussian Model 1889 Infantry Officers Sword.              SOLD   Bright clean blade by Weyersberg is 33" long and has been sharpened for field use. Blade bears the 1902-1904 cypher of Saxony King Georg. Well detailed brass hilt turning a mellow age patina. Perfect Sharskin grips with silver wire wrap that is a little loose but all intact and the Wilhelm Rex II cypher. The leather fingerschaft is gone from age. Blued single ring sheath has mostly turned brown from age, no dents or damage.                    [Click here to Order]

MSG.6  Prussian M1873 Dovehead Sword.                                SOLD Polished 30 3/4" blade by WK&C is just slightly age graying and etched on both side with beautiful fine military and floral motif. Nickeled hilt has some oxidization coming through. Fishskin grips with wire wrap are nice. Steel sheath retains nearly 100% of the blue.        [Click here to Order]

MSG.7  Saxon Infantry Officers Degen, circa 1890.                  SOLD   The 32" single edged rapier blade is unmarked and finely etched for nearly half its length. In the center of the etching is the Saxon state shield with a crown on top. A few tiny edge nicks and several fingerprint stains on an otherwise clean blade. Well detailed brass hilt retains at least 90% of the original fire gilt finish and the grips are tightly wound with siulver wire. The red felt buffer still intact. Long fire gilt chape and throat on a black leather scabbard which has one bend in the middle. The blade lacks about an inch of seating in the scabbard. MSG.8  Prussian M1808/1873 Dovehead Sword.                         SOLD This is a beautiful example of the Hussar or Uhlan model with a very wide and strongly curved 29 1/2" polished blade by WK&C. Etched with well detailed floral and military motifs. Large heavy nickel plated hilt with fishskin grips and wire wrap. Superb blued blade with a slight press mark on the reverse side. MSG.9  Fusiller Officer's Sabre, circa 1895.                                 $220 Bright clean 33 3/4" blade in beautiful condition and made by Weyersberg. MSG.10 Presentation Oberjager Hirschfanger                     SOLD   This is a rare bird. The 17" blade is etched nearly to the tip pn each side and has the "Z" inside a crowned shield trade mark for Clem & Jung. The obverse of the blade has a large panel with the inscription "Viva le roi ges chasseurs". there are a couple of dark spots through the plating at the tip. There is a red felt buffer at the throat. Solid gilt brass eagle head hilt and a black leather sheath with giltbrass mounts. The reverse of the throat is engraved "Dem Oberj. Hohne fur vorrugl. Ausbildjung sein. Rekruten im Schiessen II. Komp.. Jager N.8 1910" Loosely translated this is something like presented to Oberjager Hohne for his excellent instruction of shooting skills by the recruits, 1st Company, Jager Regiment 8, 1910". MSG.11 Shooting Hirschfanger.                                            SOLD Exceptionally clean nice specimen with a long narrow 16 1/4" blade. Weimar period Eickhorn trade mark and crisp clean etching 2/3 the length of blade, even along the spine. Just the slightest of darkening on the reverse tip. Brass mounted hilt with a stag grip and brass acorns. Very solid black leather sheath with brass mounts. Still has the original heavy gold bulliion knot with light green stripes. MSG.12 M1873 Dovehead Sword.                                          SOLD Superb plated 31 3/4" blade by Eickhorn (back to back squirrels) The hilt fittings are nickle plated with a gilt finish over the top, only 50% of gilt left. I don't know if this gilt finish is for a fusiller or what?? Celluloid grips with wire wrap. Has the original sword knot in very nice condition, black fabric with red and gold bullion stripes, bullion ball with black and red center. Nice black finished sheath has one surface dimple and retains 90% of the finish.        [Click here to Order]

MSG.13 Presentation Lionhead Sword. SOLD A beauty with a 32 1/4" damascus quillback blade made by WK&CThe first 10" of the blade is delicately etched with military motif. The magnificant blued background highlights the heavy fire gilt finish. Above the ricasso is a large oval scroll "EISENHAUER.DAMAST.STAHL" followed with a blued panel with the presentation "Bonte Inf. Regt. 134 s/l Schutz, Inf. Regt.69" (To Bonte Infantry Regiment 134 from his good friend Schutz,

Infantry Regiment 69). The damascus finish is nice and clear with a few dark spots on the surface, probably from finger prints. The hilt has incredible detail with much hand chasing and the bright fire gilt finish is 95%. Beautiful sharpskin grips with tight wire wrap. A red felt bumper for the scabbard throat. The sheath is the loose single ring type and has been repainted. The scabbard throat is missing but the original wood liners are in place       [Click here to Order]

MSG.14 German Uhlans Lionhead       $450 Massive and highly detailed hilt with 90% of the firegilt finish. Red glass eyes, crossed swords and lances on the langet, hard rubber grips to simulate sharkskin and delicate wire wrap. Bright clean 28 1/2" blade by WKC. MSG.15 Jawless Lionhead Saber      $400 Well detailed brass hilt has a wonderful age patina. Sharkskin grips with wire wrap, crossed cannon on the langet. Nice bright clean 35 1/2" blade by WKC has just a few tiny dark spots. Early double ring steel sheath is mostly brown with traces of the original nickel finish. MSG.21 Early Nazi Luftwaffe Sword,                                       SOLD Beautiful, nearly mint blade by SMF. Well detailed silver plated hilt is toned nicely. The wire wrapped grips are Very nice with a couple spots of something white on them. almost perfect leather sheath with toned silver plated fittings. One slight dent in the tip fitting. MSG.23 Early Nazi Luftwaffe Sword, Squadron Marked. SOLD Beautiful, nearly mint blade by the most desirable of all makers, Carl Eickhorn. The blade is engraved with the squadron designation Fl.H.Kp.11 Koln. Silver mounted hilt is uncleaned and toned a nice black. Dark blue

leather grips wound with a double twisted copper wire. Blue leather sheath has a few press marks and light scuffs but nothing that is at all detracting. Fine dark toned silver fittings with the reverse of the throat engraved Fl.H.Kp.11. A slight dimnple on the top fitting could be removed if desired but I wouldn't mess with it myself. MSG.30 Early WKC Army Officers                                               SOLD HIghly detailed brass lionhead with red glass eyes. Perfect grips and wire wrap. The 33 1/2" blade is the early polished type rather than plated and as such there are a number of dark spots. Black paint on scabbard is 90% intact with age crazing. MSG.31 Early WKC Army Officers                                               SOLD This is the rare dovehead type with the seperately affixed eagle on the langet. Mellow brass with traces of the original fire gilt, knucklebow is slightly "pressed", perfect grips and wire wrap. Near mint 34" plated blade. Scabbard has 95% original paint with nice age crazing. MSG.34 F.W. Holler Army Officers                                             SOLD   Lionhead hilt with red glass eyes and most of the original fire gilt finish. Perfect grips and one of the fine wires missing on the lower portion of the grips. Bright clean plated blade, scabbard with 95% paint and nice age crazing. MSG.35 Eickhorn Nr.1765 "Prinz Eugen" Army Officers            SOLD   This is a rare one with the spread winged eagle on the langet and the folded winged eagle on the pommel. These all had a potmetal hilt with nickel plated finish covered with gold wash. The gold is about 80% as typical, there is some nickel bubbling, mostly on the backstrap. Perfect grips and wire and a near mint blade with the 1941-1944 Logo. Scabbard is repainted and has one tiny surface dent. Very scarce Eickhorn pattern. [Click here to Order]

MSG.36 Early Eickhorn Nr.1693 "Wrangel" Army Officers          SOLD   The hilt is about a close to mint as you will find with almost 100% of the bright fire gilt. Grips and wire are also perfect. Clean brigh plated blade is excellent with a little spotting that may polish off. Very unusual in that this one has the rare 1934-1935 trademark. That makes this one of very firstmade and issued and you seldom see any this early let alone in this condition. The scabbard is repainted with one surface dent. MSG.37 Eickhorn Nr.1693 "Wrangel" Army Officers                  SOLD  The hilt retains 95% of the gilt finish with perfect grips and wire wrap. Clean bright blade with the 1935-1941 trade mark. MSG.38 Late Eickhorn Nr.1693 "Wrangel" Army Officers             $450   Brass hilt with 99% original fire gilt finish.Grip has a slight crack at the pommel with perfect wire wrap. Excellent blade with a couple of dark spots along the spine of the blade. This is a super rare example with the late 1941-1944 trademark. By this time Germany was at full scale war and hardly any dress weapons were made. You will only find perhaps 1 in 10,000 with this late logo.
