MHG.17 Nazi SS Tropical Helmet $725.00 Canvas covered helmet with red linen lining. shows lots of use and age with the canvas faded but in good condition. The leatehr edge binding has mostly deteriorated, the liners leather sweatband shows age. Aluminum shields with SS runes on the right and Swastika on the left. The prongs are broken of the runic shield and intact on other. Can be repaired to your taste but I am leaving it like this. Interestingly, the shield and inside of the headband are both dated 1942, the date this rare helmet was approved. Though worn this helmet is 100% original and one of the rarest of all Nazi helmets. These are selling for around $1200 when you can find one. III+ |
