Artifacts.Southwest.Perishables

SOUTHWEST * PERISHABLES

The first three items listed here are Mimbres artifacts dating 1050 AD to 1150 AD. these were excavated from a ceremonial cave on the McTise ranch near Duncan, Arizona. Perishable artifacts of any type are very rare and desirable plus Minbres material is very scarce. The portions of arrow shafts I find very interesting because of the method of construction used cane as the shaft and hardwood as the foreshaft. these are called composit arrows.
