This photograph is of a typical Montana Buffalo Jump Kill Site. The Indians would
stampede
buffalo over the cliff so that they would become injured and then finish them off with arrows. In the past thirty five years I have dug over 8,000 arrowheads out of these kill sites. The following selection of arrowpoints were all

|
 |
dug out of these sites. A few are Avonlea points which are considered the oldest true
arrowpoints found on the High Plains with an age of approximately 1200 years old. I can provide the exact site location on these specimens if desired.
