AHO.1 EAST AFRICAN BEADED PURSE $120. Though
this purse dates to the turn of the century the beads are much older, probably circa 1800-1840. They were salvaged from some older beaded items and reused. Nice medium size black white and reddish brown beads
over a gold foil base. The inside is lined with a well woven rush material. Some good large beads on the carrying strap. A heavy well made ethnographic item. 7 1/2" wide.[Click

AHO.2 AGATE IDAR-OBERSTEIN TRADE BEADS, c. 1840-1860 $85.
A large strand of extremely large conical
tapered beads made of white agate. Sizes range from 2" to 4 1/2" long. I have two strands of these, the strands are about 34" long with 11 beads. These were made in
the famed bead production center in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Great eye catching display. [Click here to order]
